Sunday October 14 (BOXSCORE)

This was the Riels 3rd game in 3 days and the boys did not look tired.

The Riels would come out of the gate hard. Mack Cardinal would tuck home his 3rd goal of the season from Robert McCaughan.  The Riels would continue to press but no goals to show for it.  The Express would score on the power play to tie the game up.
In the second period, the Riels would continue to dictate the play.  The Express would take three consecutive penalties. Jacob Tresoor would cash in, scoring off a rebound.  With under 5 minutes in the second the Riels would control the play in the offensive zone and had some puck luck.  Isaiah Cockerill would score his second of the season.  Assist went to Jacob Tresoor.  The Express would answer back a minute later off of a Riels turnover to make it a one goal game.
In the third period, the Riels would get into penalty trouble.  The PK was on point and would kill them off.  Late in the period, the Express would bang home a goal to tie the game.
In overtime, Austin Kossack would get a pass from Nicolas Burmey and make a nice move on one of the Express defenders and bang home his own rebound to give the Riels the 2 points.
